What are the eligibility weight limits for the age groups? | Weight
Limits: Grade 2 95 lbs. Grade 3 105 lbs. Grade 4 115 lbs. Grade 5 125 lbs Grade 6 140 lbs. |
| What should
I do if my child missed sign-ups?

Each
season, signups are processed in late January through early
February. Residents that miss the signups may contact the league President

| When will I receive my equipment? | Equipment handout is generally in late July. Check the calendar on the Home page for dates and times. Your coach will contact you regarding the exact date and location for pickup. | |
| When and where do we play our games? | Games are played at the different communities in the league. Grades 2, 3 & 4, for the most part play on Saturday. Grades 5 and 6, for the most part play on Sunday. Our home field is at the 4/5 grade building. Other communities include Lakota, Kings, Loveland, Milford, Amelia, Anderson, Sharonville, Sycamore, and Indian Hill. | |
| Where are practices held? | Every year we reconfirm locations with the parks and recreation department. In the past, second graders have practiced by the "bus garage", and the other age groups have practiced in or around Corwin Nixon Park. | |
| Can I request what team I would like to be on? | No, if you are a new player in the league, your child will be drafted onto a team. Existing players continue with the same team up through the age groups. | |
| What if we have twins, will they be on the same team? | Yes | |
| What equipment do I get to keep? | You will be issued a personalized game jersey which the player keeps. | |
| How many
practices per week?

The number of practices are up to the head coach. For the first week during conditioning, we are required to practice 4 nights, 2 hours per night. Most coaches will continue with four evening practices until school starts. | |
| Is there any guaranteed playing time? | Although playing time for all athletes is highly encouraged, there are no set limits to the amount or any playing time on a league level. | |
| When do practices and games start? | Practices will start at either the end of July or the very first part of August. Games will begin usually begin with the Mason Jamboree scrimmage, usually the 2nd week of August, and a league preview game scrimmage the 3rd week of August. Regular season games normally begin the 1st week of September and run through the last week of October. We normally have a year end Bowl game that is televised on Cable around the first week of November. | |
| What else do I need to do as a parent? | Since we need the support of volunteers, parents are asked to help run the concessions, handle the chains, and or run cameras or announce for special events. | |
| What else will we need to buy for our player? | You will need to purchase football cleats. The shoes must have molded bottoms, not screw ins. Socks are also not provided. Practice jerseys must be provided. Mason Youth Football provides all other equipment. | |
| Can I bring my DOG to practice? | NO. Pets are not permitted on school property. Please do not bring them. | |
